I just read a couple of stories on the internet regarding poaching of elephants and tigers.
During the last five years, 5,000 elephants have been killed in the Congo alone. An area of India now allows poachers to be shot by forest guards because there are so few tigers left. Rhinos are also high on the list of being killed and are endangered. The reason for the poaching is for animal parts used in Chinese medicine, ivory products and other by-products.
Apes are also endangered. They are killed for bushmeat.
Here's my question. What will they use for medicine and other by-products when they poach these animals into extinction?
