Share your funny or zany animal stories here. I titled it Vol. I because I expect you will all have many, many "tails" to tell!!! I'll start it off . . .

When my DH and I married years ago, we were a little concerned about how his 20 year old, ornery, but highly intelligent Siamese cat, Stasia, would get along with my 3 year old scaredy cat, Muffin. They basically avoided each other like the plague, but you could tell neither was too happy with the other's presence -- especially Stasia. One day, Muffin was up on the window sill, watching the birds. Stasia walked over and sat under the window, looking up longingly, wishing she could see what Muffin was so interested in. Unfortunately, Stasia was unable to jump up on the window sill at her age. I said to my DH, "Oh, look, isn't that cute? Stasia wants to see what Muffin's looking at." I walked over, picked up Stasia, and held her up to the window so she could look out. All of a sudden, Stasia let out a wallop -- a right hook that could have knocked out Mohammed Ali, and hit Muffin square on the side of her head. Muffin looked completely bewildered and ran off. I froze and probably looked more bewildered than Muffin. My DH sat there, laughing -- oh, the humiliation! I put Stasia down and she smugly hobbled off, I could swear, with a smile on her face!
