She just named about 20 colors of the DreamJeannes with no card, no hesitation, while the host just kept saying, "yep, umm humm, yep." Then she explained the product. Why do we always need the host, the rep know their product backwards & forward, particularly Angel! She's very good, and I think she'd bring that preparation if they'd hire her as a full-time host. She's has personality and knows her stuff!

Re: Angel needs to be a host!

i'm going to bet that she's very satisfied with representing quacker factory.

Exactly what I thought too.

Re: Angel needs to be a host!

The hosts have a huge list of things they need to talk about and that list might apply to 30 to 50 different products every week - colors, sizes, prices, pay methods and on and on, all the while reacting to the rapid-fire info feeing into their ear pieces.

I just don't see Angel doing all that right now - she really seems to have hit her GF stride in this last year. Leave her there to enjoy.

I didn't see the show but I agree about show preparation. It's not pleasant to see them stumbling and bumbling with colors. It's their job to know the colors or just be able to read them from a card. Really doesn't seem all that hard to do with a little run through.

I was watching the D&C show this a.m. Mary Beth was the host, and she had trouble with the colors......especially with the one stripped T........ And she usually is pretty smooth in her words and work. This kind of surprised me when she was stumbling.......

She may have been called in on short notice and didn't have the opportunity to prepare.

The vendors don't have a producer talking in their ear, I think that is the hardest part of the job, trying to form sentences while listening to someone giving you directions.

Re: Angel needs to be a host!

She carried on very well after Jeanne and I would bet she is happy with being the Quacker representative. When I saw the picture on the cover page of these boards, I thought she looks so much like Jeanne, she could have been her daughter.

I think she's fine with being the Quacker rep.

Re: Angel needs to be a host!

It's a lot different having to know a lot of things about many different products than it is to know a lot about a single line. I think she's fine as a QF rep. Not sure that would translate into being a host.
