I just got back from my nasal swab. It was easy, and self-administered. I was given a Q-tip, told to insert it into each nostril 1/2 inch, make two full rotations of each nostril, then hold for 15 seconds. After both nostrils were done, I placed the Q-tip in a vial, sealed it, and then put the vial in a bag. They had a mobile van, and are doing the testing outdoors. I should know the test results in 24 - 48 hours.

Even though I feel fine, no symptoms, and am 99% sure that I don't have it, I can't help but to worry. I am trying to keep a positive attitude, and not think about it too much, but the waiting is the hard part.

Your comments made me think of a definition of worrying ....

But you can't tell what the subject matter is based upon the thread title in many,  many cases.  I thought that this could have been about a home pregnancy test.

Poor example of possible subject matter.  If this were about a home pregnancy test the results would have been available before the thread got posted.  On average results of a home pregnancy test take hree to five minutes.

Waiting for a package delivery.

Waiting for a repairman.

Waiting for a phone call.

Waiting for a text.

Waiting for the rain to start.

Waiting for the rain to stop.

Ok, so I see both sides of this.  Yes, the OP didn't need to post 3 separate threads on the same topic. She could've just continued the story on the other threads. But then is it really that big a deal?  I'm guessing many who read the boards here aren't THAT pressed for time that it matters so much if you take a few seconds to read a thread whose topic you aren't interested in.  I admit, that one kinda makes me chuckle---"why did you make me open a thread I have no interest in?"   Really?   So just move on then.

I just hope the OP doesn't get sick.  What a bung up so many things are lately.  Gets on the nerves.
