I lived through the 7.1 in San Francisco and the earth really shakes.  I hope there was no loss of life and everyone stays safe.  Our thoughts are with you, Anchorage.  Cat Happy

I find it fascinating that Alaska is sort of "hurricane central" in the world.  Prayers for safety for all affected by this big quake.
