Ancestry.com Question

I saw that someone has added census reports to about 10 people on my family tree.

I don't get this at all: are these people on his/her tree?

I got all of them from the census reports he used.

BTW, I was sooo surprised when I finally was able to find my great grandfather place of birth and was stunned to find that he had been born in NC. It explained my soft spot for that state (aside from its beauty and friendly people).

Thanks for any explanation for this or anything else on that website for that matter.
