I saw The Youngbloods play at a club on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA in maybe 1968 with Spirit also on the bill & both were excellent. I can't recall the name of the place, but it was across the street from the Hollywood Palladium & it was later the Aquarius Theater & "Hair" played there. (Gawd, I feel so old!)

You know I never knew he was a member of the Youngbloods until recently.......I only knew of him as a solo artist........he was one of my favorites along with Rita Cooliage, Bonnie Raitt, Leon Redbone and a host of others.............I was more of a folksie kinda song person LOL.........................................raven
