Ok, I've been kicking this one around for the last couple of days. My ds is getting married in the fall of this year. It's going to be a 'big shindig' and her Dad is paying for most of it. My son and gf are both 3rd year residents right now, and I'm so proud of both of them. Her family is HUGE, with friends and all sorts of relatives. There should be about200 people in attendance. Our side is only about 25. I was thinking of inviting two of my childhood friends that I recently reconnected with on fb, and reunited with at our 45 year hs reunion. I've known both since 7th grade. I would invite them with their partner and husband. Since they don't know my son or anyone else, is this wrong?? Since it's going to be a lovely kind of lavish affair, and since I'm so proud of my son, and since they are old, old friends of mine, is is ok? or is it no good??? Just wondering. Thanks for any info. I'm having lots of questions, but this is one on my mind right now. The wedding will be in San Diego, and one couple is in San Francisco, and the other is close by in Seal Beach. In other words, one would drive all day and stay, and the other would be sort of close.. well kind of. So, what do you think?? Thanks
