@Enufstuff  To think that a sleepless night brought such a  beautiful poem to your mind! I love the image of vines covered in lace snow.  That lines "alabaster sculptures stood guard on the lawn.  Where bushes were seen on the previous dawn" such a beautiful set of lines and I can see the snow covered bushes in my mind.  Rhyming "sky" with "snow piled high"- I like that a lot. I really like how you described the pine boughs bending underneath the weight of the snow- I can picture that so clearly.  Wow! You mentioned that your children haven't read your poems, I think that you should show them your beautiful poetry- it really is a joy to read.  I also think that you could compile them into a book and self publish- you can even publish them under a penname if you like! Anyways, your poems are really so very ;ovely and thank you for publishing them on these forums.  Enufstuff, you've got the right stuff!
