Why in the world do people insist on Jesus being homeless. He had a perfectly good middle class home in Nazareth for 30 years. He chose to do His ministry for 3 years and even then he was no more homeless than anyone who travels. He did say in one town where they rejected his teachings that the Son of God did not have a place to lay His head. But He was hardly homeless and this was only one incident. Even in the wilderness the Angels ministered to Him.
To depict Jesus in this way is horrible and offensive and absolutely untrue.

Who could view that and not give?
Happy Easter Terrier. LM

Just read the accompanying article. It notes that reaction to the depiction was mixed so I guess we should not be surprised that reaction here is mixed as well. I find it very moving. LM

He was a traveling itinerant preacher with no home, no wife and no children.
He lived among the poorest of the poor, the outcasts and the rejected. He was poor himself.

[Matthew 23:35] For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Terrier, this sculpture is most appropriate for Holy Week. Thank you for sharing.
