Indoor Kitty:  I seriously don't recall which male designer.  I thought perhaps Cameron Silver, but then it could have been Isaac M. or Louis D, or Dennis Basso.  My first thought was Cameron, but I can't bet any amount of money on my first thought / guess.  Well, maybe he will say it again, if Amy mentions it again.  If the lucky stars are lined up in a straight line.................  p.s.  All I can say is that what he said is very true.  No matter what, Amy is very successful in her career venture.

I've always liked Amy.  I have no problem understanding her.  The host that talks too fast is Sandra.  When she works with SG impossible to watch.  She has changed remarkably.

One of the several things I like about Amy is her cheerful honesty.   She just says what's on her mind, in a cheerful way.  And, she often says that she's a casual dresser, often wearing jeans and a tee shirt; baseball cap. ........Also:   I recall her apologizing to a male designer re: her English (or vocabulary or grammar), and he replied (in so many words/don't quote me) not to worry and that she ended up having a great job, and doing very well on national television.  Please don't quote me, as I don't recall his exact words.

It was with Isaac last week.  He used a pretty common word that she had no idea what it meant.  He was very gracious explaining it to her and complimentiing her.  I can't remember the word.

@marchingalong123 .... maybe in 20 years AMY will learn how to speak clearly so that the viewers know what the heck she is saying .... Looking good in the clothes should not be the criteria for being a good host .... I can't watch AMY so when she is on I change the channel!!!!!

I've never cared for her or her on-air presence and it isn't likely I'll feel dfifferently were I to be watching down the road, since I'm not watching very often now... If I were, I guess I'd have to email the Q with my opinion, you know, to balance out the feedack...

The few times I have seen her, I like what I see. She is quite the character. Last week she was doing a shoe show and the vendor looked incredulous when Amy claimed she only had a few pairs of shoes.....same with handbags because she liked to spread her fashion dollars around. I wouldn't exactly say that it was good timing when you are trying to sell shoes to the audience. The expression on the vendor's face was priceless....

Amy is one of my favorites. She doesn't go on and on like some hosts about her kids first communion or her faith or her new baby boy from Hondorus. She keeps it real and fun and lets just enough personal life to keep it interesting.

Fran and Zoe:  I believe what I was referring to wasn't as recent as what you described.  I did see last week's show, though. ...... What I viewed (maybe a couple of months ago) was the compliment re: for her not to worry about apologizing about her grammar, mistakes, (or whatever), and that, no matter what her English is, and the mistakes she's made, she's here now, at the Q, on nat. TV, etc.  In other (my) words, no big deal, and she's a success regardless.

Trinity:  Yes, she's very honest in a cheerful way.  I laughed and laughed when she was applying / patting on makeup with her finger(s).  She made a cute joke out of that one!   She seems so 'down to earth'.  (Old phrase that's a compliment).
