I have seen photo's of some celebrities like Madonna and Ashton Kuscher who wear them and they practice Kabala, therefore the red string. That's nice for a prayer chain too.

Amy has said her red string bracelet was just an inexpensive find she picked up for $5. Has no mysterious meaning behind it or anything. She did say it has the word love on it.

I've always heard that the red bracelet means good luck, good health and prosperity!!  And who doesn't wish for that!!  Smiley Happy  In fact, I just bought one for a dear friend's daughter.
