Yes, Airman Spencer Stone, Oregon National Guard Specialist Alek Skarlatos, and Anthony Sadler, senior at Sacramento State College, all friends.  Chris Norman is the British man.

Alek is from Roseburg, Oregon.  Being in the PNW, we have heard a lot on our local news about his involvement, including interviews with his parents.  His stepmother says he's great at assessing and dealing with situations and she would trust her life to him.  His father said Alek called him and said "Dad, we were on a train from AMS to PAR and stopped a terrorist."  His dad replied, "WHAT?!!!"   Smiley Happy
