Violent? In the middle of an argument she grabbed her girlfriend's arm.
The charge was dropped.
It's still DV.
She has a history.

I wonder why you didn't mention that the charge had been dropped. The fact that it was dropped does not mean DV or even a history.
Leaving bruises or twisting an arm, something like that, I'd agree. But plenty of people grab another's arm just to get their attention.
@Noel7 Dropped or not, there was a charge. How many people are charged for grabbing another's arm just to get their attention?

Please don't defend abusive people.
It's unseemly.
Just because she is a woman, that doesn't give her free rein to mistreat others.

I'm not defending her. I've said before she could be lying, but I like facts and evidence.
You left out the fact that the charge was dropped, why, I don't know, but the event was certainly not as implied.
I'm sure her "friend" had a reason for calling the police.
I wouldn't defend an abusive person - of either gender.
Many abused spouses drop the charges when push comes to shove, nothing new there.

Can you show me where it said her friend called the police, I didn't see that. It happened at at airport, I assume there was suecurity around.
According to your report, the following is true. She was allegedly arrested, and the charge was dropped by the prosecutor. That doesn't suggest much at all happened, if anything.

I'm not going to be baited into a silly argument with you.
No one with half a brain cell believes Amber Heard.
This girl is shady, PERIOD and case closed!

There's plenty of info on other websites about this (TMZ, People, LA Times).
The charges were dropped because both women lived in CA.
Also Heard not only grabbed Van Ree's arm but struck her arm.

So the girlfriend didn't call the police as claimed?

LOL...........

She wasn't "allegedly arrested." She was arrested and was taken to jail.
"According to law enforcement sources and documents, Amber and Tasya van Ree got in an argument on September 14, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm, which upset Tasya and triggered the arrest.
Amber was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. Her mug shot was taken and she appeared in court the following day."

Well, her lawyers should keep Amber at arm's length then! Imagine that Poor Amber Heard is paying top dollar for a legal team that in my very inexpert opinion has botched the whole case. Regardless of what he did or she did, Amber is ruining her chance for a good settlement and perhaps hurting her career. If one wants someone to buy your silence you must actually BE silent. I'm starting to wonder whether Mr. Depp is less inclined by the day to consider any type of settlement for her. On a practical basis, she will be better off going foward if she stops this nonsense and gets a legal team that can negotiate in private. How can this be done with the team she has now after all that's gone on?

"Arrested and booked" does not mean convicted. She was not convicted of a crime of domestic violence. Case closed.

Sorry counselor but there's a difference between allegedly arrested and arrested. In Amber "van Ree's" case it was the second. That her lover did not press charges doesn't change the fact she was arrested and booked. Wasn't that what this thread was about?
