This family has been in my prayers since if first appeared here. All I can say is, they have a long road ahead of them and they will need all that God has to offer.

Good evening everyone. Unfortunately I did not see a report made by her mother...... But, my thoughts and prayers are with them during this very rough period of time. So unnecessary for them to be in so much pain and wondering why this happened to their daughter. Their faith will get them through this, and am sure they have many friends.

I did see the young man being interviewed that followed the truck......he was very young, and he commented he didn't know what he would have done if he had been able to catch up to him....... Guess after a period of time he had thought about this....."What would I have done if I had gotten to him."

The front and back door lights to our building (apartment) are on......as they always are, but in my mind I am saying this is in memory of Hailey tonight.

Hailey was shot in the back of the head (execution style), and her little body was put in a plastic container and put down in the basement. She had been tied up. He tried to clean up after he shot her.

Thank goodness he didn't molest her.....they reported this.....

They did comment on how emotional the PA was and is taking this pretty hard. Bet he is wishing he didn't have to take on this case.

And once again, there seems to be no motive for him to have done this.

Hats off to the Springfield police for the excellent job they did on this case.

Oh bette......neither can I...... And to think he was employed through the Public School system. That in itself is scary......

ShowMe, don't get me wrong, I am glad the girl was not molested, but in my mind, that fact takes away the entire motive. Who would just pick a random child to kill execution style???

I guess one of my quirks, flaws, whatever you want to call it, is that I have this need to know why. Why did that happen, why am I doing a certain task, whatever.

In this instance, the senseless death of this innocent child is just haunting me.

I really hope this case doesn't just fade away. Not just so we can know why, but as a reminder to all to stay alert and watch out for our children.
