Amazon lost my kindle library

I have had Kindle and Fire devices for 16 years and have over 1200 books in my library online. Suddenly today they are all gone! Called Amazon and they are aware of the problem; system wide! They have no idea how long this will take to rectify...

I am sure they will recover all of your books, it may take a day or two. Before retiring I was in backup/recovery of data, in something that widespread it can take a few days but I am sure that all of the information was backed up regularly.
