Amazon buying Whole Foods

For 13.7 billion dollars. 


Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I just saw that on CNN.  Amazon keeps getting bigger and bigger.  In a way I feel bad because the smaller retailers don't have a chance against companies like Amazon.  But, I shop on Amazon so I guess I can't complain too much.

I believe amazon provides great benefits for employees. Whole Food employees may now get to benefit from that.

I do shop on amazon a lot..... but, I also worry that they are getting so big soon they will have no competition and that could spell trouble down the road.....

If they can bring the prices down and bring Whole Foods' good quality to the masses, fine. Until then, Whole Foods is too expensive and and a luxury for most.
