Amazon Prime is definitely worth it to me -- especially at Christmas. I will definitely renew my membership when the time comes.

agree depending on your shopping.

My daughter just got married and we ordered a ton of stuff off Amazon using prime the table cards, unity candles, holder, flower girl basket, pillow etc...and I also ordered several dresses and had free returns on those that I didn't keep..tried on..kept and returned what I didn't like ..free returns..picked up by UPS at my house...and I received my refund the next day! ...

I order my one free kindle book a month and also Christmas time I use it for about everything..

It totally depends on your shopping. I don't stream movies.

I don't think you always pay more for the item with prime shipping. I also order my lotion that I love and you can only find around here during summer months as it is made by Hawaiian Tropic..Walmart and Target sell it for 6.99 ..I buya 3-pack on Amazon shipped to my front door..free in two days for $20 and change!

I have Prime and although I don't order that much I thought the streaming shows would be nice but I cannot figure out how to do it - so it hasn't been very worthwhile for me after all.

Right now it's still worth it for me because I have a roku and use the amazon prime channel You can stream on your computer if your speed is fast enough.

They give a free kindle book every month.

Love Prime. I just looked. 81 orders so far this year. It's more than worth it for me.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I have mobility issues and can't browse in stores like I used to do. I find it so convenient to just look up items, order and have them delivered in 2 days. I get all my 30lb bags of dog food delivered...worth the price of admission alone.

I'll have to check our dog food and compare price . . . as it is always a special trip to the Feed & Seed store as not just any retailer in town carries it . . . Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight . . . had been using and alternating Salmon and the Chicken . . . I think but now that they are both 13, Shelties . . . I thought a little Healthy Weight would be good for them.

Before we fed them Canidae all there lives . . . and they finally had a recall about 2 years ago and I made the switch.

mr henny and I go through about three books a week. We order them from amazon and we also order our fancy feast for the three kitties. It is a very good saving. We also order testing supplies for my diabetes, frontline for the cats and many other things. We just got a new step ladder yesterday. It is great!

My daughter gets the kitty food from Amazon, too! It's less expensive and she doesn't have to crate the heavy box around.

I never thought of diabetes supplies, I'll have to get DH to check into that. Thanks for mentioning it HP Smile

I just checked on our dog food and looks like about 20 bucks a bag savings! Not bad. Plus an hour of my time. And 20~ miles each way . . . so a few more bucks in gasoline savings to have it delivered to my door. Woo Hoo!

They always carry my bag out for me at the Feed & Seed . . . not that I can't carry it myself . . . but it was especially nice for the 44 pound bags of the Canidae . . . but with Blue I get the 24 pound bags . . . I think they must package it smaller for a reason . . . as it is it is almost 80 bucks for a 24 pound bag . . . vs. I think I use to get the 44# of Canidae for about 55 bucks. Hefty difference. So a 40~ pound bag of Blue would be around 150 bucks!!!

Our dogs are very healthy. I truly believe feeding QUALITY food makes a difference. I can't imagine feeding them something like Ol' Roy!

I should check Amazon for my Propel water. Last time I checked no real savings but I'm sick of the 3 flavors in the cases at Sam's and Costco . . . I love other flavors but a little more spendy at the grocery store for them.

If you get the dog food on auto-delivery it costs even less. We were paying $59.99, plus tax, for a 30# bag at PetSmart. My total is anywhere from $38 to $42, out the door, with Amazon. We use a little less than one bag a month so about every 5 months I can skip one to catch up.

You save a minimum of 5% over the price with a/d and if you have 5 auto-deliveries that month you save 15%.

Plus, the nice thing is that my UPS guy will put it in my house for me and all I have to do is slide the box through, into the kitchen. He would carry it in there, but I think that's more than I need to ask of him. He's the best!
