Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

I received a notice early this month that my Prime would renew in April.  The price is $139.

Could the difference between the current annual fee and the $151 you cited be due to taxes?

The current monthly payment is $14.99.

@Jordan2   "(they don't give you notice that it is renewing)."

Yes they do.

Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

I order quite a bit from amazon.  I share the account with my DIL.  This year it was $140.  I pay half, $70.

Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

It is worth it to me, if you want to know your renewal date just go to amazon and click on account and then subscriptions and memberships .

Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

@Jordan2, wonder why you are paying $151 when we are paying $139.

I would ask why.

Last September, it was $139, but with tax, we paid $147.83. (Missouri)

@Sage04 I live in New York State, maybe it is the taxes and other fine print fees? I guess I could call them and question it. This may be the last year I'll subscribe as it is getting too expensive.

Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

@Jordan2 I recently looked at my orders for the past few months and they have dwindled year over year.

After seeing your post of $151 and my inevitable renewal, really gives me food for thought to continue with the subscription or not.

I can add up what postage I would have paid to see if it's worth it, but wondering if the delivery time changes when not a prime member?

Re: Amazon Prime Subscription

I'm pretty sure you can cancel any time and they'll refund the difference.
