You know their Amazon branded items will be on sale, but other than that you just don't know. I took advantage of their trade-in deal today and traded in my old 7" 2012 Fire tablet for a new 7" Fire tablet and got $5 for the trade and 25% off, so my total cost after taxes was $34.97. That's not bad for a new tablet with twice the memory of the old one. Rumor has it a new 10" Fire tablet is coming soon based on FCC filings. If they offer the same deal then I might upgrade my ten inch one also. I don't expect to buy anything on Prime day. I added the Echo Input ($14.99) to my home theater system so I can now listen to Amazon Music through the system. They've been having pretty big markdowns pre-sale, so rather than wait, I'm getting it now.

I saw a few lists on other sights about PD Deals and all were Amazon items or little dodads. I'm not interested in that so I doubt I'll see what I'm looking for but I'm willing to wait until Monday. I've never shopped PD deals so this is new to me.

if you want something its' worth it, in the past the Instant Pot has been a big seller,

Amazon had a press event Friday where they showed some of the stuff that would be on sale. They had a table displaying some of the items. The Echo Show, Echo, Fire Stick and other stuff was on the table.

I'm looking for a robotic vacuum that works best on carpets so maybe they will have some on sale. Any input in which one would be the best?

I was at a Whole Foods yesterday and they gave me a complimentary green bag---good sized, too. She said it was because I was a prime member. As someone else stated, the $10 you spend at WF, you get back on Amazon, and I'll be buying a pancake mix on Amazon that WF no longer carries. lol

@gardenman : Most of the best deals that I have seen previewed are for Amazon brand products; I'm buying two new generation 7" tablets for $ 50. I've also seen Dot for $20 and Fire TV was also a massive saving.
