I just purchased my very first iPad. 9th Gen, 64 GB for $249.00. I've had this in my cart for awhile and finally took the plunge.

I was a nervous wreck too because I haven't used a MAC product in years, plus trying to fit it into my budget is going to be interesting but I'll manage. It's a need, not a want, so there's that.

Also, I'm not happy with my Amazon Fire 10 or 8 HD tablet. Too slow and battery is pitiful.

Wish me luck! That's it for me for Prime Day.

Happy shopping for those who find good deals!

@sugar plum - you will love the iPad. It's so easy!  It's easy on its own but once I switched to a Apple products I never went back to a Windows product. I just find them easier to use.  I use my ups 99% of the time and my MacBook Air the rest.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: Amazon Prime Day 7/11-12

I don't have Prime, but was thinking about signing up for a day to take advantge of some items I want. I'm not sure about that because I have read that Amazon made it difficult to cancel Prime Membership. Amazon is facing a lawsuit over devious tactics with Prime.

I never had an issue ordering from Amazon and usually ordered over $25 so I still got free shipping. I don't trust that I can cancel Prime that easily and will be stuck having it when I want to cancel. The items I want aren't expensive, anyway, so I would just save a couple dollars. If I wanted a large item I would chance signing up for a day, but I don't trust Prime enough just to save a couple dollars. Others might think differently.

Started putting things in our cart last night. Waiting to learn if we were one of the ones that got the TV on the Invite Only sale. Lots of good deals.

Absolutely !  I received an email to start my list to boost my prime awards.

@Goodie2shoes How does that work?  I don't think I got an E-mail, but those go to my E-mail account for everything internet, so I mostly just scan through.  I just don't understand about boosting your rewards.

Well, I didn't think I would order anything but I surprised myself.  I got the dvd set of the Inspector Morse series at a prime deal price.  I enjoyed the Endeavor series so much that I wanted to watch the original series all over again.  Yes, I'm a dinosaur and still use a dvd player.  I really dislike streaming.

Re: Amazon Prime Day 7/11-12

I wasn't a prime member but it gave me a free 30 day trial so I ordered a Roku for the TV and a Blink security camera.  Hubby had been wanting each of those for awhile and both had a good sale price.
