Amazing, isn't it? It's almost like magic. You think of something and go to Amazon and voila! They have it and YOU have it in 2-3 days. I bought my Autumn decorations from Amazon. I had this idea of what I wanted (Pinterest..lol) but I didn't know where I'd find those things and I did not want to spend a lot of money. I got it all from Amazon. Well, almost. I got my big glass pumpkin from Target.com. They are pretty good too.

I buy from Amazon because of the free shipping and low prices. I am not a prime member.
Today I received a 7 lb can of almond paste from them. They truly sell almost everything.
I just wish they would treat their employees better.

I agree amazon is very good to work with. In the few times I've had issues and have sent them an email about a situation, they've always responded within hours to me. As well, they will intervene with sellers too because they want to know how everything is going b/t buyer & seller.
And we can find many of the same things here for big money, on amazon for little money.

I was very happy with Amazon last Christmas. I ordered a toy for my grandsons and it was to be delivered to another address while I was at the other location. The shipment was late and to be delivered after I left. I called them and explained and canceled the first order and reordered to my house. They didn't cancel shipment of the first toy, so I received two of them. I called to return one and they said to keep it for my trouble. So, it was donated to the Salvation Army toy drive.

I agree about Amazon CS. I have to add Vitacost and Chewy.com to the list.
How can so many online companies offer free shipping, free returns, and fast resolution to problems????? And yet, others gouge you with all the S & H and return charges??? Obviously people are still willing to pay all the extra tacked on fees.
It has certainly forced me to turn away from them and go for the smarter way to shop.

@tends2dogsBecause it's a lot cheaper to run a warehouse than keep stores with the personnel you want immediately when you check out. Stores have more operating costs.
