Amazon Making it Harder to use Prime.

Not only has Amazon raised their minimum to $35 to get free shipping (already a thread discussing that), but now there seems to be many ADD-ON items that can't be bought by themselves. They can only be purchased after you spend $25 on non-add-on items, and then they will be added to the order and you will get free shipping. It has nothing to do with Prime either.

I called them ask what was going on, and the rep told me that this is the new way they are doing things. So, I tried to buy a make up item, and a bottle of hot sauce, both of which are Add-on items, so I can't buy them unless I spend $25.

I have to say, I'm not happy about this. They won't sell the items to you if you don't reach the minimum. I think that's crazy.

What do you think about these add-on items?
