@Buffalogal47 Probably, that's the way it usually works.

I think it is overly intrusive and will not be enforced.

My last two Amazon orders were delivered by USPS. I wonder if that's one of the contractors referenced.

As employees for USPS, they already wear a uniform. This might be some other private enterprise that they have contracted drivers from. There's so many you wouldn't believe @IamMrsG .

@gertrudecloset You're probably right, but I was being facetious.

Pretty sad when you think of how much cash Amazon racks in, it seems that they would treat their employees better....That's why Im not an Amazon fan...
If they are contractors, they are not Amazon employees. They don't get benefits. Not like regular Amazon employees
My husband is an engineer. His first job out of college was as a contractor. No beneifits.

I'm so sad to hear this. I'm sure there are some who need these guidelines, but it is a little insulting too.
DS' good friend from high school is working for them. He couldn't get a job after college (since they all graduated in 2019), so he does this.
I asked DS about "the bottle" and how they use it a few weeks ago when everyone was talking about that. He laughed and said his friend just stops at (a local market near us that has a large parking lot)!
We've had some really great drivers deliver mostly food, but other items too. ![]()

@IamMrsG No, Amazon has hired contractors who hire the workers that are described. The USPS has nothing to do with this.
It's funny, to hear Amazon tell it, they have these dirty, smelly perverts but trust them to handle and deliver thousands of $$$ worth of merchandise.
