I just checked all the services mentioned, sadly we have none available. Luckily we have a grocery store close and still are able to do our own shopping. I hope our areas will get some but it may be years in the future for those of us living in rural or small town America.

Thanks so much...this is right up my ally. I've outsourced paper products and some dry goods for yrs now.
I'm waiting to get my invitation now to see if its available in my area...have a feeling probably not yet.

We have the same delivery setup with Instacart and our local grocery store, whether its rainy, hot or cold and delivery to my door in 2 hours--its $8.50 a month, tips are optional, you can order that day or in advance, they also give us a feedback survey to see how the order and delivery went....Every time Ive used it the service is ALWAYS EXCELLENT! And curbside pickup is also another option....
And you can order anything in the grocery store....
Also, Walmart, Target, and Amazon all offer home delivery in our area....

I have used Target and Walmart for same day home delivery of fresh foods. Liked the Target delivery better. May try to Amazon fresh foods delivery...
Have used Amazon, Target and Walmart for home delivery for many other store items.

Walmart will not deliver certain items. It would say in store only. I think it's the same with Target. One reason we wanted to stop doing our shopping in a store, was lugging the heavy gallon water or Snapple Drinks. Ironically, Walmart would not deliver those things. Neither would Target. So I went looking for something with front door delivery. We did do Peapod for a year or so. At any rate, I'm happy having Amazon deliver our food. It's tough finding to shop/park etc when your only options is to shop on weekends or evenings, as we both work.

@KailaS wrote:Thank you for posting this. I am getting ready for another surgery in a few weeks and I am totally alone. I will be unable to drive for quite some time. I checked out Amazon Fresh just the other day and it looked as if it would work for me. Yes, I understand those who say they want to do their own shopping. However, for someone who is ill, this seems like a viable option. But I did not know anyone who had used it.
@KailaS i've been thinking of you since i read this the other day. i want you to know i will be thinking of you and wish you the best in your recovery.
