I try really hard to find the best deals and save money for my family. Really bothers me that the echo show 5 can be purchased for $89.99- 2 pack on amazon today. I feel a bit ripped off.

Plus is you have an Amazon Prime CC, Amazon is giving 10% back on the purchase, which makes the total cost $80.

Could you return the original purchase and buy the better deal?

Yes, but I wouldn’t because of the hassle of it. The hosts went on and on about how they had the best deal anywhere. Yes, at that time they did, but they are a huge retailer and must have known that others would have a lower price later. They sold thousands at that price because others thought that was the best price by what was said. Not true. Smiley Sad

It was true at the time.  Are you implying once a company says they have the lowest price no other entity should ever be able to sell something at a lower price, even the company making the original claim?

Additionally, for nearly the entire month of November there has been extensive media coverage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, particularly for Amazon devices being significantly marked down.

Oh, not at all. Qvc usually does have the lowest price and good deals. I just didn’t expect a week later for a better deal to be offered. Especially when we are all trying to buy gifts and at the best prices we can find. I am very thrifty as my family would say. 😊

It happens.  I was sooooo close to buying a new printer this past week or so, but my instincts said to wait for this weekend.  Glad I waited....$100 off.

For future reference @Puppies, when you hear Q (or any other retailer) say they have the lowest price available UNTIL (enter date) it is a clear indication that after that date the item may very well be available for the same or a lower price elsewhere.

Yes, now I'll be more careful.  I guess it's the Christmas craziness that got me!

Welcome to the forums. Before you buy your next item from QVC, do a Google search. You can then compare the product's quality and price.
