I was at an outdoor market that sells a variety of items and they were selling genuine Barefoot Dreams cardigans and joggers all with tags for $25.  Most were in large sizes and the one that was my xs size was way too long on me. Item A596959 on the Q for $158.  What a deal if they had your size.

Also found Luminaria candles all in boxes and in different colors for $5 and $10 each and three candle sets for $15.

Goes to show the mark up on items.

That is a deal unless they were knock offs.

I have to say that I find deals on ebay, for designers here - brand new clothing in the size that I wear, in original bags with tags, for much less than the original cost.

I do love quite a bit of the designs on QVC, but some of the items are just a bit too pricey.

I realize that QVC has to pay for their tv channel, the designers, the staff, etc.

I also find Free People and Anthropologie overpriced at times, and ebay and Poshmark is a good source for their designs as well.

Those prices are below the wholesale cost that retailers pay for that merchandise.

Yes, i agree. The merchandise may have procured by some kind of buy out deal ,due to defect, damage to storage facility, discontuance of style, store closure, theft etc.

@Biftu As mentioned in another post they may have been purchased well below original wholesale price.

At a recent estate sale I bought several hundreds of pieces of QVC jewelry for resale and also bought a few luminara candles for personal use.  Many colors, sizes, varieties all mostly new in box for $5.  This collection was in the thousands of pieces and most never used.
