I was impressed that the judges said unequivocally that she didn't do it. The article I read said this is unusual. That usually they just say there was not enough evidence to convict. In this case they ruled she was totally innocent.

This case was mis-handled from the word "Jump".

I think that the officials there were determined to pin it on Amanda, no matter what, even if the evidence did not support their claims.

They have the man whose DNA was all over the victim and all over the apartment. He said that Amanda and Rafaeli were not in the apartment at the time. Then the prosecutor got ahold of him with his orgy theory and Guede changed his story suddenly when he saw what the prosecutor was doing in the media. He ended up getting fewer years for murdering Meredith than the other two who had nothing to do with it. If Amanda Knox is guilty of anything, it's stupidity and naivete. She should have refused to speak to any of the Italian police without counsel. She at the time didn't know the language that well, and answered questions she didn't fully understand. I would venture to guess that a 20 year old who had just walked into her apartment which had become a murder scene might be shaken to the core as well. No one really knows what behavior is considered normal under those circumstances. I do not believe that Amanda or Rafaelli had anything to do with what Guede did, since he had broken into other places in Perugia and was also dealing drugs.
