I have always been heartbroken for Amanda's parents and siblings too and of course for Meredith's. Both families sent their daughters abroad for a year of college and after just a few weeks of being there this horror occurred and wrung Amanda's family out emotionally and financially and devastated Meredith's family. I never understood how a young girl and her boyfriend both with good backgrounds could possibly be involved in a murder with this total stranger who was convicted. It's a long time overdue to exonerate her and her boyfriend but better late than never although so many lives have been ruined from this tragedy.

I have always been puzzled about the Kercher family's almost vendetta against Amanda. The authorities have always had the murderer/rapist in prison for the crime. The DNA evidence proves that. There is no DNA evidence tying either Knox or Sollecito to the murder. There is no solid evidence they were even *there* at the time. Why do the Kerchers so badly want to punish people who there is no solid evidence against? Yes, people can have suspicions that someone knew something, but that is not the same as murder, or even possibly preventing a murder. Why are they continuing to publicly opine that there is "NO justice" for their daughter? Sounds like they, like Mignini, want Amanda to be guilty whether she is or not.

The family feels that someone is to blame for their daughter's death, and might as well blame the American girl, even when the evidence and facts do not support their feelings.

Early reports said Amanda and Meredith did not get along. Possibly Meredith told her parents interactions she had with Amanda.

At first I thought she was guilty. As I read more and more evidence I came to the conclusion that she was not the murderer. Does she know anything? That, I don't know for certain. But I do know the Italians botched this case up big time from day one.

^^^^^Pretty much how I feel.

That's the only logical explanation I could come up with. They already didn't like her, so she must have done it. Sounds so un-British, though.

Too bad the reporter didn't ask her if she's ever going to pay Patrick the thousands that she was ordered to pay him for slander. The poor guy was accused of murder.

From what I read about the case and from reading court documents that are posted online, she said that she vaguely remembered that he killed her as she sat in the kitchen covering her ears while Meredith screamed. The next day, she wrote a declaration stating that she stands by what she had said.

He was only released when they found the other guy's fingerprints. A customer from Patrick's bar also said he was talking with Patrick the night she was killed.

Were these the documents that were given to her when she didn't speak the language? She was asked to speculate also.

She didn't speak the language, they got her to say what they wanted her to say.

She didn't speak the language, they got her to say what they wanted her to say.

At that point she did not know all that much Italian, and the police and prosecutors fed her statements, browbeat her, threatened her, and generally coerced her to sign and say whatever they wanted her to. A 20 year old girl whose roommate had just been brutally murdered. She wouldn't have known what she was "admitting" to if they'd told her she signed a document saying she was Bugs Bunny's sister. This sort of interrogation/confession thing happens in many countries, where very often people are considered guilty until proven innocent, and the niceties of proper counsel and a desire for actual truth are just not there.

I think she is guilty also, and a sociopath, from what I have seen/heard/read.

What have you seen, heard or read that would indicate she is a sociopath?

I have never heard or read a thing from a teacher, coach, employer, friend or acquaintance that indicated she was anything but a nice young lady.

The person I've seen interviewed I do not find particularly likable.
