I hate my picture being taken,too.Ever since I was 5,i've hated it.There is a picture of me,hiding in a corner,crying,because I didn't want my pic taken...someone called out to me and when I turned in that direction,SNAP....I had a 5 year old temper tantrum after I realized I had been tricked.

I'm 64 and I still hate it.

I look at it this way, how many of us wish that we had photos of our grand-parents, or great-grands, etc, but those photos don't exist?

Now, what if your grandchildren, or great-grand children were to say, "I wish that I had a picture of great-grandma, so that I would know what she looked like."

Sometimes we have to think about others who might enjoy having a picture of us.

I agree! My mother has ruined a lot of pictures that we try to take because she puts her hands up over her face. She thinks it is funny, but now we have very, very few pictures of her with her face showing (unless she is in the background of one.) If we want a group/family picture, we have to "make" her get in it.

I hate it. I am not photogenic. I would rather not know what I am looking like at a particular moment.

If a picture turns out half-decent, that's called luck.

I don't like having my picture taken because I'm embarrassed of my size. I wish I could get over that. I keep thinking that my kids won't have any pictures of me when I'm dead and gone.
