Here is the FDA warning concerning memory loss:
"Certain cognitive (brain-related) effects have been reported with statin use. Statin labels will now include information about some patients experiencing memory loss and confusion. These reports generally have not been serious and the patients’ symptoms were reversed by stopping the statin. However, patients should still alert their health care professional if these symptoms occur."
See that bolded sentence -- these reports GENERALLY.... have not been serious.
However, in those reports there were also some very serious reports of cognitive brain-related effects; such as permanent memory loss resulting in dementia for those unfortunate patients.
Again, these reports of permanent memory loss caused by statins was included in the research that was behind the decision of the FDA to publish the warning.
Permanent memory loss is a hallmark of dementia. If statins can cause permanent memory loss -- statins can cause dementia.
Please refer me to the literature in which the FDA warns of permanent memory loss resulting in dementia that is related to the use of statins.

All your stating studies/findings etc. doesn't mean squat in this dreaded disease. You think you have this all figured out? Pffttt.... I've been there. Each person is different and each caregiver is going through torture, stress and increased physical and mental status.
Stop your arguing and maybe that will add years to your lives.
Drugs, lifestyle, socioeconomic status means nothing in this non-discriminatory disease. You learn to go with the flow or it will take the caregivers down as well.
Act like adults and show some compassion to the people who have gone through this and/or are dealing with loved ones with this terrible disease.
Years and years and money and more money have gone to cures for many horrible diseases and yet people die every day. Certainly research has led to better treatments but, cures are a long way off.
There, I've said my peace.

Who said it was all figured out? NO ONE.
You argue and then tell others not to? Speaks for itself.
Many of us have gone through this disease with a loved one. Compassion does not mean getting on the Anti Science train.

As did I. If someone said the sky was blue, you would find some way to argue the point. It's just who you are. You do it all the time.

Why are you making this personal against Noel? That isn't productive.
And how do you know who all has been impacted by this disease and who hasn't? Or is that just your assumption?

You're the one who disagreed and told me that flash mobs were always violent and cited your own personal reference. I hope you realized that wasn't true when croemer put up a beautiful video of a flash mob at Christmas time.
Now you're doing it again and you're making it up as you go along. No one said it had been all figured out... you made that up and then ranted about it.

Here, Gooday.
Show this to your own personal expert who claimed a flash mob was always about violence:
