Well she DID finally learn a sort of  "Brit" accent.  I think there's a course on TikTok.

I just read recently that EJ's health is declining and he has a lot of health issues, so maybe this is a "breather" for him. As for this collab w/Harry, I will not even entertain the idea of spending over $100.00 on a candle. I'm not a fan of either.

Harry and Shawn seem to get along well.  You can tell she likes him and he seems to enjoy her.  They are paired together quite often.  I just hope she doesn't gush over Elton John.  This country needs new heroes.

I would have been surprised if they would have picked anyone else to host this.  

That being said, I am not interested in candle buying or Elton John.

Harry and Elton are longtime friends and Elton has said he’s a candle fanatic.

I really like Elton. I’ve been to 2 concerts and he’s fantastic and incredibly talented.

Sir Elton is a kind man, and I love his music! Years ago we won front row seats to one of his concerts. And I got to shake his hand. I'll never forget it! 

But I can't get one, because of our kitties, even though I would love to have one.

I enjoy Elton John and his music, but HS candles are out of my price range and I don't watch anything SK is hosting.

  Maybe this is the 1st of  collaborations with various famous people that Harry Slatkin has designed candles for to add  " new life " to his candle line since there's so much competition. Even  Peae Love World designer said she was bringing in a line of candles .

 I don't care who he pairs with on his candle line , to me it's abt the fragrance as to if I like it.

I do buy his candles and have a few favorite  such as Lemomcello , Amalfi coast,  Partridge in a pear tree with Heliotrope and  one of his Frazier fur scent.

All this constant " British " accent of Shawn sounding like Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins, is so so .... Now some of the other Hosts such as Chelsea  are getting in on the British accent  goofiness with Shawn . The Brits  are thinking those  dumb Americans ...

I cannot burn candles in our home because of the cats, I do use candle melts from time to time but not very often. I am an Elton fan, I think highly of him but I am not a fan of this host and even Sir Elton will not entice me to watch.

I've loved Elton John since his first song came out decades ago. But I think it's an embarassment to have Shawn with him.
