My mother always told me that as you get older, time just seems to fly, and it is so true! I finish breakfast, then it's time to make dinner! It's Monday and then it's Friday! It's May and then it's September! Where does the time go?

hi all...Gidget what is rabbit, rabbit day?

If you say "rabbit rabbit" on the first day of the month, you'll have good lick for the rest of the month. My entire family has been saying it religiously, on the 1st of every month, since in was in the 2nd grade.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I hate the ending of summer with the shorter days which all lead to dismal and barren winter. I also dread the school year(which has already started) because we still have two in HS (exhausting!!). I look forward to a time when my life is not controlled by the school calendar.

I love the arrival of the "bers" September,October,November,December.{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

It is funny that after a relatively cool summer it is going to be quite hot this week.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

I remember on July 4th we had all the windows closed and I was under a blanket.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Remember girls......as my grandmother used to tell us as young girls, never sit on the ground in a month that end in an "er" or "ry" ........ Remember this well, and she meant it. Don't know why, but think it had something to do with us being girls and the ground is damp in those months.......

HH...November 2. For the past few years, always the first weekend in November, and I'll always remember that because my son got married that weekend. It was very nice that we all gained an hour on Sunday morning, after the wedding later in the day on Saturday.

I'm not crazy about the end of summer, but early fall in Michigan is absolutely magnificent! We'll still have lots of beautiful, warm and sunny days at the beach, but without the crowds. And, it's only 32 days until the start of the college hockey season!
