I haven't watched Evine shows in ages, is Laura Duffeck still hosting the lamps?  She was my very favorite host for years.

When her family still had Harry London chocolates she was the rep for the candy on HSN then after the company was sold she became an HSN host for a short time before going to Evine.

I was wondering why she was not hosting with her brother. I will miss her, I hope her brother continues to sell the chocolates. They are good, although I have bought some directly from his website and they have a code for fee shipping. I would hate to see him leave Evine though.

I'm really surprised Allison would leave Evine.  A few years ago she was just a giggly airhead, then Evine started having kitchen shows, selling cookware, etc.  She really seemed to carve out a niche for herself and the next thing you know, she was writing cookbooks.  She seemed to mature and be a lot more comfortable.

I wonder if there was a break-down in contract negotiations?  Maybe Allison thinks she's a lot more valuable than Evine does.

I read somewhere a while back that Allison approached Evine years ago with the distinct purpose of seeking to have her family's chocolates sold there.  During that interview, the powers that be were impressed with her presentation and not only accepted the deal to sell the candy, but offered her a job as their sales person.  Whether it's true or not, I have no idea.

@aubnwa01  yes, i noticed that also. But according to what she posted on facebook, she is no longer with evine.

@Lindsays GrandmaYes, Laura is the vendor rep for lamps along with a lot of other household items like sheets.  She is a very good salesperson.  I didn't know she was a host at one time???  She does an excellent job.

I've always enjoyed Allison and have missed seeing her on Evine. Has Evine announced anything, maybe I missed it...did this come out of the blue,  I hope she's ok, wonder if there was something amiss at Evine???
