Allegations from years ago

I was speaking to someone today, do you find it less troubling about allegations that happened years ago,compared with if they were say in the past 4 years?

Why would I waste my time on other people's drama? No matter when it happened?

I have things I feel the need to tend to in my own life without concerning myself with who groped who while earning 7 figures.

Do you think though that because how men can ,and do speak of women ,not groping, touching, it would matter as much?

@goldensrbest I do find it less troubling if they are from the past unless it was a criminal nature.I think society has changed the rules so what was once accepted is now a new standard.marijuana that was once illegal is now accepted in some places,didn't at one time have to wear seal belts or helmets,children didn't require car seats,you could smoke anywhere and homelessness was considered vagrancy.

Define your terms. You can't discuss this without delineating just what you're talking about.

Groping? Words? A pat on the back? Exposing and "playing"? Forcible kissing and feelilng? Coercion physically or emotionally? Threatening to harm in some way if not acceded to? Penetration? Rape?
