thanks - that reminded me to check his JAI Facebook and found this update (he had to skip his presentation at QVC the other day due to getting a call his mother was ill):

Thank you for all the prayers & well wishes that you've sent up for my mom and my family....it's working. She is still in the ICU and we are not completely out of the woods but she is headed in the right direction. When she came to I told her of all the sweet messages and prayers and she smiled. I promise to read them to her when she is up for it. May I ask that you please keep her in your prayers for a full recovery. I thank you for being there for me and for my family, you have no idea how many times I read your messages. You are all in my prayers. - Thank you...Scott

Sad news -- Scott posted that his mom passed away on Friday, 8/1, at 10:54pm. Scott was with her. He wrote an amazingly touching and heartfelt post about her on his JAI John Hardy FB page. What a beautiful soul he has. God bless him and his family.

The beauty and love from Scott's mother live in Scott and his daughter, Olive.  So very fortunate that she and Olive got to share their love.
