Rahm Emanuel considers suing Jussie Smollett to recover an estimated $150,000 in costs incurred during the investigation. The exact cost is unknown, but 24 detectives were removed from other cases working up to 1000 hours, not including overtime, as well as time spent examining 55 cameras, search warrant execution and subpoena issuance.

This is only the beginning. The investigations are going to reveal why a prosecutor and a judge would sign off on this. Has anyone heard of community service being done before a trial? Has anyone heard of we are dropping all charges but we keeping your posted bond? Why is everything sealed? You scream from the rooftops why you are dropping charges. You are outraged if someone was arrested and charged on weak evidence. Who ever pulled strings to favor Smollett is now the story. I am popping my corn as 2019 is revealing it ALL.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I just read this comment posted to a Yahoo! article. It speaks for me.

"If anyone sees Uncle Sam, please tell him to come home. We miss him. If you encounter Lady Liberty in the process, please let her know we are sorry we allowed millions to take advantage of her kindness, also please let Old Glory know that not all of us think of it as a rag and if anyone finds our missing Scales of Justice, please return them, they have been missing for quite some time and we have been a little "lost" without them.
