57 to be exact, the Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show. I know this because Ringo posted it today!  🥁

In remembrance of their performance, which seems like it was just Yesterday, the Beatles still have All My Loving.

❤❤❤❤

I agree Pearley.  From the first time the Beatles entered the music world , we were all captured by their charisma and charm.  We picked out our favorite Beatle, and listened to every song with the same love and enthusiasm.

I love jazz and the blues and the Beatles always gave credit for their talent to the many great blues singers who came before and deserved the credit.  Love the Beatles.

I knew a woman who saw them live.  She was the SIL of a co-worker of mine.  The co-worker told me in the late 80s that a home-made foil covered star with a picture of George Harrison graced the top of the family Christmas tree, by tradition.

So birthdays and Christmas was the comparable feeling of excitement when it came to how we felt about the Beatles.

I remember going to school the next day, third grade, and the entire playground at recess was filled with girls with arms linked, singing "I want to hold your hand".

@GrailSeeker 😄 @ the Geo Harrison star on the tree. No such thing at our house, being Jewish, but it would have been Paul.
