I've heard of a few things at Target I'm wanting to get. One is pumpkin spice hot cocoa. I'll have to try it!

When Trader Joe's gets all their pumpkin items in - I go nuts.

It's one of my favorite flavors - even more than chocolate.

I want to try the Williams Sonoma pumpkin caramels this year too.

SO DO I!! Love that place when it is pumpkin time.

The WS pumpkin caramels are very good. I heat them up for a second in the microwave and put some fleur de sel on them. Yum.

TJoe's also has dark chocolate salted caramels during the holidays. Oh, my gosh, they're good and my favorites! TJoe's gets such fantastic things for the season, I love their pumpkin things, too.

Coming soon {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Last year it was pumpkin everything. In Starbucks the other day, I had a small pumpkin latte, the first of the season. It tasted awful, I hope it was a glitch because I used to like them.

Target's Halloween food section had something new, a Betty Crocker cookie mix in maple bacon and frosting to match. We're seeing a lot of maple/bacon things around here, including donuts. I haven't tried it, though.

You have to tell Starbucks to reduce the expresso on the pumpkin spice. If you have a Keurig their pumpkin spice kcups/vue are amazing. Target has them.

Thanks for the Starbucks advice! I don't have a Keurig and I know we're missing a lot. I make coffee at home freshly ground the Melita way: unbleached paper filters and the cone.

Lila, there's a new (to me) bacon out here, Applewood that's lower fat and better for you. I think it's uncured. If you're interested, I'll look for the details on the packaging for you.

Sounds good to me!

Will do. I made a good chocolate kiss martini for Christmas last year. I think it was chocolate vodka plus something clear... Godiva? Luckily I wrote it down. Rimmed with chocolate jimmies and a Hershey's chocolate kiss in the drink at the base of the martini glass.
