I'll admit I kinda want those ear pods. What's cool is you can have noise pass through them so you can hear what's around you, or you can turn on noise cancelling. Instant selective hearing!

I only have Alexa on my Fire TV Stick. When she starts cooking dinner, doing the dishes, and the laundry, I’ll get her for the house.
I do get some amusing answers when I ask her some things. - Ask her if she is a GOT fan and see what she says....

How would Alexa know if you told her a lie?

Okay, I have to ask, because I am genuinely curious.
If so many of you dislike Alexa, then why do you even have it in the first place?

Ours was a gift, but we have enjoyed making fun of her and she turns on my lights and fan when asked to @Anonymous032819 She helps with my spelling. Old brain just doesn't work like it once did. DH checks sports scores and weather. He also has a playlist on there he likes to use. When I figure out how to do one I'm going to make one up of my fav. songs that drive him nuts. LOL

Alexa is timing multiple food prep items for me at the moment. She reminded me to do the dog's eye drops this morning. Like preds mentioned she controls several lamps. She entertains the grandkids with endless jokes. She lets me know if a delivery has been made.
While her voice isn't particularly pleasant, she can also read books for me from my Kindle app.

I have it for music.
