@Kachina624   I totally agree,  What a mess.  I'm happy for Baldwin.  I never thought chargers should have been brought against him.  Does anyone eeally believe he knew live bullets were in that gun when he fire it!

@lgfan   I'm sure he hasn't slept well since this happened.   But he's not the reason she's dead.   He didn't know there was live ammunition in the gun.  Do you seriously believe he wanted to kill that woman???

@arizona babe    There is no evidence that anyone was out to kill her or that it was a hit job.   It was a terrible mistake  a hit job?   Are you serious???

He didn't mean to kill the woman but he still killed her. He was being careless. I have seen many actors on talk shows saying that they spent weeks researching a character. If he would have researched the handling of a gun he could have avoided this tragedy.

There was no reason for the gun to be loaded at all. They were just setting the camera angles and scenes.

sometimes a tragic accident is just that...a tragic accident

it has nothing to do with celebrity status or not

i wish peace and a sense of renewed purpose to all

those involved

@Lakelife62   just my opinion, but I don't think it was a vendetta against Baldwin per se, but more like an over zealous DA looking to try a high profile case -  it's good for his political career.  In this case. Not so much because they  screwed up royally by withholding evidence.

@lgfan    He was not careless,  he didn't load the gun,  he was handed the gun believing it contained blanks anf that the person or persons who were responsible had done their job.

If he had to use the gun on himself for a suicide scene you better believe this accident would have never happened.

@Teddixat Even on a movie set, an actor should never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger.  There are ways to set up camera angles to make it look like you are pointing the gun at someone.  Even blanks can cause mortal damage.  For example Brandon Lee who was killed on a movie set when a blank was fired at him and he was hit with sharpnel. Alec should have been trainned how to handle a gun on set.  Either he wasn't trainned properly or he did not adhere to his trainning.  And it has been established by experts that the gun wouldn't have fired unless the trigger was pulled.
