Another scam attempt -- second one I faced. Someone sending "Alert Amazon" e-mail. I reported this to spoofing@amazon.com
Discouraging. Best to you, LadyAlice

I got my preferences set to where I tell them don't want to receive nothing except information about what I ordered. Not doing reviews of stuff I've got, etc.

For the past 4 years I have used Trend Micro anti-virus/security protection and tech support. Their security detector alerts you wilth a big STOP popup before you click open suspicious emails like that. I've used McAfee and Norton in the past, but Trend Micro has been the best in my opinion.

Me, too. Trend is awesome.

I just got an email from Kohls about "my order". I am not sure I have ever ordered from from Kohls. I didn't open it.

Me too. I deleted the email and then googled the phone number for Kohls and called. They verified that I did not have a balance or an order. Just a reminder - don't click on any of the links embedded in these suspicious emails. I've often said that if those smart enough to set up these phishing scams would put as much time and effort into a real job they'd probably make a pretty good living.

Then they'd have to give their pound of flesh to the government. They won't be doing that @Financialgrl.
