Alec Baldwin is sloppy in every way. His rage on minor things, his political rants, his parenting........now this.

An extraordinary story that will no doubt be fully investigated. Right now, details seem to be hard to come by.

Alec was photographed after the accident, visibly upset while talking on the phone.
Whether you agree with his politics or parenting, to know you fired a prop gun that resulted in someone's death and injury to another, was no doubt very upsetting.

@gardenman wrote:Lots of questions. Why was he even pointing a gun at the cinematographer and director? Other actors tend to be most at risk as they're who the hero/villain typically points the gun at. Why point it at the cinematographer or director unless you're upset with them? Whether it was live ammo or blanks, he shouldn't have been pointing the gun at the cinematographer and director. Was he "playfully" shooting them assuming they'd be unharmed or shooting them out of anger/frustration? Either one is bad for him.
@gardenman ... I agree! Lots of questions how this happened!

Oh my word. If I had read the heading of the Post with the word "Actor" in place of Alex's name my first thought would have been Tom Cruise but with Alex's past history I can see this happening. What a nightmare for all of the families.

I believe something like this happened to Bruce Lee's son years ago. A prop gun went off and killed him.

"I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone." His tweet criticizing a police shooting in CA. when the officer, struggling with a suspect accidentally shot him.

Maybe they should make those types of prop guns illegal or something. I would think the prop dept. would be able to figure out a safe substitute.

Agree, now he can walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. A new experience for him.
I haven’t read today, but late last night a spokesperson for him supposedly said, ‘the prop gun accidentally discharged’. Bet there was a person attached to that gun.
