I agree he wasn't found not guilty but what I found interesting was that several of the jurors spoke to the media and said, in all likelihood, they would have found him not guilty. They didn't think the state had the proof they needed for a guilty verdict.

 

It might been even better if the trial had continued as it sounds like he would have walked.

He was not found not guilty. He, also, was not found guilty.
