I usually don't care for Albany but today I wanted to watch Rachael Ray and she was on. The two of them were so good together I couldn't get over it. They were both talking so much telling stories about their families. I actually enjoyed the show. Maybe I will give Albany another chance.

Underneath that glorious mane of red hair is a brain to be admired.  Her quick wit gets her into trouble with some but if you decide not to dislike her on GP you'll find she is better prepared, more knowledgable than any of her peers, deft, professional.  Her vendors talk about her long after their programs are over, often quoting her Albanyisms and they smile and laugh out loud like they can with no one else.

Thanks for posting.  The carrion vultures do so much deriding that is rarely deserved.

ITA and very well stated.  Albany is one bright, smart cookie who really does make some of the other hosts look woefully unprepared.  She is a great addition to QVC and I can partially understand why some don't automatically take to her - she doesn't hide or downplay her intelligence and some might find that a tad off-putting ( which I'll never understand)  She has a compelling presence that I really like~

I caught the Cottage Farms show with Albany and Phillip this afternoon and kept it on because the two of them were so enjoyable.  I had to laugh at one point when Phillip said he was afraid of her - which you could tell was said in gest.  Phillip also had lovely things to say about Albany's home and yard which didn't surprise me at all -

You can say what you want about AE and RR they are both too much IMO, I can't watch.

Agree totally. Those are two people I won't watch.  Albany, like so many of the hosts, needs voice coaching. Too high-pitched and loud
