Re: Alarm Clocks...Do You Use One

I'm not even sure how to use the bedside clock as an alarm clock. When I need to get up earlier than usual, I rely on my iPhone alarm.

My alarm clock is my iPhone alarm and a little bulldog.

OMG yes. Not only do I use/need an alarm clock but I use the snooze button as well. I even put the alarm clock across the bedroom thinking if I had to get out of bed, I'd stay out of bed. Nope. I stomp across the bedroom, slap the snooze button and stomp back to bed for another 10 minutes.

I am absolutely not a morning person.

I've tried that trick and it didn't work. These days I use one alarm clock that has two alarms. I set them 15 minutes apart and still hit the snooze. On the weekend I magically wakeup at the time I should wakeup during the week. I think my brain knows I don't want to go to work.

I have a sonic boom alarm clock for people who are hard of hearing. In addition to a very loud alarm, it has a gadget that goes under the pillow ... and work like a cell phone set to vibrate instead of ring. It has also very BIG digital display.

Yes, but I'm usually up a little bit before it goes off anyhow.

Re: Alarm Clocks...Do You Use One

We have six furry alarm clocks and they make sure they awaken us by 5:00, which is our normal wake-up time during the week. Unfortunately, they also work on weekends, which means that we awaken at 5:00 on weekends, too.

I will say that our alarm clocks do a fine job! (There's a saying that goes something like "There is no snooze button for a cat that wants breakfast".)

Only when I have to be somewhere since I wake up at all times I only use one when I have to be awake at a certain time for an appointment.

I don't use an alarm clock. On work days, I always wake up at 5am which is 30 minutes earlier than I want to get up. But, I still set the alarm on my phone for 5:30. On weekends, my body automaticall wakes up at 6am.

I'm not a morning person so need an alarm... plus I get to battle with it everyday by hitting the snooze button at least 2-3 times before I finally crawl out of bed.

Finally. Someone normal like me!
