Airnow dot gov

purpleair dot com

For either one, enter your zip code to find out local air quality measurements. Both sites also show much larger areas, even the whole US. Airnow is government; purpleair is private.

airnow also has a fire map, using flame symbols to indicate fires in multiple states, more than just California.

The one I am using is AirNow which also shows fires anywhere in the US.
