I'm in NYC and AC went on yesterday - 80 and humid.

Next week looks rainy and hopefully cooler.

Thank you for enabling me @Bookplate !  My husband said it was ridiculous to put the air on, but now I'm doing it!   PS I'm the bill payer anyway, he's just being his usual cold blooded self.  😹

Good luck with your Prep and Colonoscopy. I had mine last July. It all went fine.

I awoke cold this morning.  It was sunny, clear but with a chilly north wind blowing.  Possible rain this evening, which usually doesn't happen.

I don't turn AC on til it's 85° or more.  I'm quite comfortable with the ceiling fans.

I turn my thermostat on whatever I have to when we need to get rid of the humidity. We just had a lot of rain with more next week. I turned the AC on 69° to let it run a cycle before turning back up so it wouldn't come on. We can't deal with the humidity.

It was chilly this morning here. It's only 67° now. Low of 44°? I have the windows open airing out the house today.

It took a while but summer is here.  We didn't get much of a spring.    It's 80 degrees so I put the AC on.  I have been in my bedroom switching clothes & shoes from Winter to Summer.  I thought I was feeling hot from that.  Checked the Temp and it's 80.  Trees and flowers have burst into full bloom.  Tomorrow is the prep day for my colonoscopy so no weekend fun for me.

I took one of those home kits instead of doing that

drinking horrible stuff and running to the bathroom every 3 minutes. Dr. gave me a choice, so, for the 1st time I chose that poop and mail off option.

Came back OK. Medicare pays for. Even if you have polyps don't matter. They'e looking for blood.  Think after 75 you don't have to have any more.

@Nightowlz. You need to live where I do...in the desert.  One day this past week the weatherman reported relative humidity of 6%, which is most days this time of year.   My AC system, an evaporative cooler, actually puts moisture into the air.   I look forward to having a not-dried lip, nose and skin.  My wood furniture loves it too.  It costs less than $50/mo to operate.

It's 85 in Baltimore but I haven't turned on the AC.  I'm still trying to recover from the sky high heating bills!
