I love the video for that song.  (So, of course, I had to go watch it!  Still great.)  Smiley Happy

Love that song.

Not sure about a kid's explanation to the twin verse 😬

Each person has to learn for themselves and everyone's journey is not the same.  Someone older saying those things would just have been a smile and eye roll!  My SO and I remember the horror of realizing that all the older generation was now gone and we were it now.  It happens so fast!

@On It  My joints creak like rusty gates, wrinkles on a Shar Pei are cute, me, not so much and my chin sprouts hairs like a Chia Pet.

My song is "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney.

I look back with many moments and realize how fast my life has passed ...and more ...

This song is my reality ...

Ms. Sheryl Lee Ralph doesn't see it your way @On It .  I do, though.  I saw a pic of her in her 60's flawless body doing a runway in a two piece bathing suit.

@On It

Just got in from 2 hours of mostly vigorous ice skating. Can I do what I used to be able to do on skates?  Don't know because I have got beat up enough doing the things I know I can still do.

Stamina is not a concern for me because I work on keeping it as well as possible as I have gotten older. As good as when I was 50? Of course not, but is as good as many much younger good skaters I know from skating.

The way you described "younger whippersnappers" is how I have lived all of my adult life. The "present" is my life and has been since my young teens. Don't know what "gracefully", as I have aged, even means.

Enjoying my life and my plan is to continue to do so as long as physically and mentally able.

@hckynut  Totally OT here, but thought of you today while watching drag racing from Norwalk, Ohio on tv.  I haven't watched for years, but really enjoyed it today.

Not a big country music fan, but I get a kick out of Toby's songs. Yes, there is truth in those lyrics.

@hckynut Since I know zero about ice skating, I have questions. Do you skate like a hockey player, a speed skater, a figure skater, or some of all of the above. I only know what I have seen on tv so I need an education.
