Re: Ageing out of Christmas Toys

Even if there was an age to stop with toys, it sure isn't 8.

"The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys."  Same toys, just a heck of a lot more expensive.

My son is over 40.  He still often gets toys for Christmas.  I got him an adorable Baby Yoda as one of his gifts....he called and said it was his favorite!

If that lady has any kids of her own, I feel sorry for them. She sounds like she'd be very strict concerning other things as well.

Maybe that woman is known as “Mommy Dearest.”

In my mid-70s, I enjoy my collection of Teddy Bears.  They are displayed in a few little groups, and I don’t bother playing with them.  They keep one another company.  And the two from Harrod’s are not snobs at all!

No one will ever force me to “grow up.”  I say MYOB.

What do you think?

Is there an age at which children should stop playing with and asking for toys as holiday presents?

@lolakimono  I think people should mind their own darn business.

TOYS are a GATEWAY DRUG.....to the wonderous and limitless IMAGINATION.

No age it too old.

The person that said that is just plain silly.

There is a beautiful photo of Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" playing with his little daughter with a Barbie in his hand a few days ago.

Re: Ageing out of Christmas Toys

I feel like we have all our life to be grown ups but just a short time to be a kid! So let them play with toys just as long as they want! There should be no age limit!
